It felt like the club wasn't really connected to the restaurant, as we had to wait in line again and pay an additional $20 just to enter. Additionally, the bottle service was disappointing; the staff appeared to be more focused on smoking empty pens rather than preparing drinks. Unfortunately, the drink I ordered was not good at all. What User doesn't like about Thirteen By James Harden:
Unfortunately, the Seafood Fried Rice was dry and lacked flavor. Both the Lamb Chops and New York Strip were overcooked, coming out well-done instead of the medium we requested. The macaroni and cheese was also dry, and the collard greens were bland. On a positive note, the other sides and the salmon were enjoyable.

My overall experience at Thirteen restaurant was excellent, deserving of a full five stars. The host was attentive, the food was quite good, and the atmosphere was inviting. However, there was a downside: the staff outside who checks IDs were quite rude, especially towards women. When people asked simple questions, he responded aggressively. It felt as if the club was not properly affiliated with the restaurant, as we were required to exit and then re-enter the line, paying a $20 cover charge just to access the club. Additionally, the bottle service staff were vaping while preparing my drink, which didn’t taste great at all. It's safe to say that the sidecar drink at the restaurant and the one served at the club are definitely not the same!
The food and drinks are always excellent, but the temperature has consistently been uncomfortable over the months. They really need to improve the air circulation for a better experience.
We ordered the Seafood Fried Rice, New Zealand Lamb Chops, Teriyaki Glazed Salmon, and New York Strip, along with sides of Grilled Asparagus, Collard Greens, Macaroni and Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, and Spicy Broccolini. Unfortunately, the Seafood Fried Rice was dry and lacked flavor. Both the Lamb Chops and New York Strip were overcooked; instead of being medium, they were well-done. The Mac and Cheese was also dry, and the Collard Greens were bland. On a positive note, the other sides and the Salmon were quite good. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, but it feels like you're only paying for the name. The quality of the food does not justify a 4-star rating, which is why I am giving it only 1 star.
We had a great time celebrating our 5th anniversary at Thirteen. Our hostess Lauren took care of us for the evening answering questions about the menu as well as giving suggestions. She was extremely helpful. The food was delicious. My wife got the salmon and I got the lamb chops. Make sure you try the Lobster mac n cheese eggrolls they are amazing. Will definitely be coming back and hopefully Lauren will be the one to assist us again as her service was superb!
10/10 would recommend. Everything was great and we will be back!
