The Tasting Room - Houston

Unfortunately, we visited the restaurant in its final weeks before closing this month. The food was really good, and the server did their best to attend to the entire room with a limited staff. I wish we had discovered this place when it was fully operational.

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we had heard rumors that it might close on August 27th, but we plan to return in the future. The food was excellent! We ordered the home salad, caramelized Brussels sprouts, and the pancetta arugula pizza—all of which were very well prepared. The service was fine; however, it seemed our waiter was responsible for too many tables. He took our orders and delivered to other tables as well. We almost had to cancel a second glass of wine that was ordered before the pizza, but it didn't arrive until after we finished our meal. It’s unfortunate to hear that the location in Uptown Park has closed.

I took my family out for brunch, and it was a great experience. The restaurant is very welcoming to children, and the food was absolutely delicious!

I was disappointed to learn that this location is closing, but I'm glad we had the chance to enjoy one final meal there. Despite being a Wednesday night, the restaurant was quite busy. We came to sample their HRW menu...

Great place to enjoy drinks after work or have a light dinner. When the weather is nice, definitely take a seat outside. The wine was enjoyable, but I wasn't a fan of the local sparkling water.
