I'm not sure what Sonic's official policy is, but when a carhop checks your order and delivers your hot food to your car instead of using the drive-thru, a tip shouldn’t come as a surprise – it’s deserved for the friendly and fast service. My fries were incredibly hot and crispy, and the burgers and frozen shakes were delicious!
