Update; 1/16/22 we visited yesterday as a table of 4. It was super busy, booked out. While the food has always been good, it seemed to be on another level of deliciousness. The cocktails also seemed so improved over what always seemed so good. Thespicy edamame is to die for !! The service was fantastic. Even though so busy, our waiter was totally on point. Such a greatdining experience. This remains a great Japanese restuarant. The service is always friendly and fast. The restaurant feelsspacious and open, beautifully decorated. The food is simply delicious and always artistically plated. A great place fordelicious, consistent Japanese food and service.

Chilean Sea Bass is consistently amazing. Cooked for perfection, melts in the mouth like butter. Better than Nobu hands down. Truffle fried rice is most tasteful. Sushi is fresh and of the highest quality. I hope this place never leaves me

The cocktails also seemed so improved, which always seemed so good. The spicy edamame is for !! The service was fantastic. Even if so busy, our waiter was completely on the point. This is a great culinary experience. This remains a large Japanese restaurant. The service is always friendly and fast. The restaurant feels spacious and open, beautifully decorated. The food is simply delicious and always artistically decorated. A great place for delicious, consistent Japanese cuisine and service.

Very disappointed with the service my wife and I have received today. We usually get a good or at least decent service in the bar area, but this time we felt excluded, abandoned and no service. We felt like the bartender and owner were especially buried for only Caucasian people. We had to hunt after them to order food, water and alcoholic beverages. We are Asian and were so excited at first before we thought in the restaurant that we would feel at home - we were wrong who surprised us negatively - could also go to Ginger Cafe for much better service and better food.
