Russo's New York Pizzeria Italian Kitchen Polk St

Good place to get a quick a bigger piece of pizza than most places. Large NY style thin crust and if in Downtown Houston a worthwhile place for a slice!

The very nice person who helped me said I could never eat two of these slices of pizza. Yes, the slices are HUGE, but I put two of ‘em away. It also helped that the pizza was very very good!!

Good selection of pizza and we could build our own including vegan options. Nice beers on tap. Friendly helpful staff. Not sure about using garlic on every pizza.

I visited Russo's for a casual lunch and had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service. I created my own pizza and opted for a special veggie option. They were quite generous with the toppings. While the presentation and distribution of the toppings could have been more consistent, it was easy to overlook this minor detail when I saw the size of my pizza. The slice was impressively large, especially compared to the NYC pizzerias I've been to. The crust was delicious—just the way I like it. I would have preferred my vegetables to be cooked a bit more and served warmer. The sauce was incredibly tasty and addictive. If you're looking for New York-style pizza with a touch of Texas flair, be sure to visit Russo's!

I love this place! The atmosphere is very welcoming, and you definitely get your money's worth.
