I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and I plan to keep returning, even though it's on the pricier side. They have the best salsa I've ever tasted in my life. This restaurant is fantastic! I love their tortillas, both flour and corn. The male owner sells his food with such passion that it feels like a hidden gem. It's a great place to enjoy some really good food and drinks. Highly recommend! View all feedback.
Chips and salsa are great 10/10?. the place has a good atmosphere and service was good? with the said the fajita meat tasted a little strange, but overall was not bad ..but the main concern was watching the ac vent leak water directly in the water pitcher it used to fill drinks for all tables lol?. prolly must check this
If you want fresh good Mexican food, this is the spot. My wife and I have been coming here for years and we know most of the staff and the owner. The food is always good and we love the chips and salsa. I had the El Mero Mero and she had the chicken fajita tacos. The drinks are also very good here. I recommend this place. ? ?
The fajitas were definitely yummy! I seriously don't like eating beef fajitas at restaurants because I honestly feel like they have a horrible taste to them. But here at Romero's I was surprised! The beef did not have a nasty taste to them!! The only down fall to the restaurant is I wish the service was better! My mom and I made a huge observation but I will keep thay comment to myself. Omg y'all, the have HOMEMADE FLOUR TORTILLAS!!!!!!! I honestly don't want to go back of the bad service but I will be back bc of the beef fajita and the TORTILLAS!!!
Best tamale in the town ?? Best Menudo in town ?? I was actually pretty shocked how good the Menudo was. Usually when someone exclaims the best? It usually isn?t. When I got there, it was relatively busy but they were able to sit me and a coworker down pretty quick. We could tell that the waiter was a little bombarded with a big table and we were super patient and still turned out to be a good service experience. I will gladly go back, but only on weekends but only to get the Menudo.
My favorite place since I moved to Houston. Came for my birthday and was serenaded by their amazing singer. The food and service is always wonderful. Best steak I've ever had (don't tell the DH lol ...the steakhouses around here need to go get schooled by these professionals. Be sure to get Tia's tortillas (omg, best handmade tortillas EVER!
