We were working out of town (I'm from DFW) and i stopped here to get some food. If this location was near me I'd NEVER go anywhere else. This is that location the bar every other location gets compared to. I enjoy the atmosphere and the food was delicious. If i ever swing by Houston again I'll make sure to stop by. What SCUBBA doesn't like about Raja Mediterranean Food Sweets:
It's hit or miss, the food is sometimes alot better than others. I got beef kabab so chewy and tough you couldn't hardly get through it without just swallowing the pieces of beef almost whole. The food changes depending on who is preparing it. The service is always pretty spotty, especially if the owner is not there. This is the best Mediterranean food I've ever tasted! It might take a little while to receive your meal, but it's absolutely worth the wait. I ordered the falafel wrap with fries and the Greek salad, and both were fantastic. The desserts were also amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious. We will definitely return!
This is an excellent place to visit. Returning felt like going to a friend's home who can really cook. I tried the falafel on a thin pita, accompanied by fries, and it was outstanding. Everything was incredibly fresh, and you could tell it was made with care. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very comfortable, and I could easily relax in the chairs at the tables for hours. It’s a top-notch experience, and the prices are reasonable as well. I'm absolutely delighted!
The pitas were dry and bland, but everything else was wonderful. I really enjoyed the chicken and beef/steak kabobs, as well as the hummus. The staff were friendly as well.
My husband and I visited this restaurant for lunch today, and it was our first time there. What a charming spot! Fatima was incredibly sweet, and the food was absolutely delicious—I savored every bite. We also had the pleasure of meeting the other owner, who was warm and friendly. It’s such a welcoming place. We will definitely return! Thank you for a lovely lunch!
