However, I was a bit disappointed with the seasoned apples, as they didn’t taste as good as I had hoped. Our daughter loved the macaroni and cheese, which was also very tasty. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance—it's not loud inside, making it easy to have a conversation. Additionally, they serve dinner rolls to the table, which is a nice touch! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to return!

Great service, comfort food, the Muffin man, welcoming atmosphere. We had roasted green tomatoes and roasted Okra, of course... also liver and onions with apples and potatoes and salad with a huge baked potato. The next day, most of the potato had to take home, which did not disturb me at all. Always a fun place to dive. We love the roles and muffins! Had the strawberry and the blueberry this time.

Once our drinks arrived, we placed our food order, and it was ready in about 10-15 minutes. I should mention that I always prefer my steaks cooked medium-rare.... read more Once our drinks arrived, we placed our food order, and it was ready in about 10-15 minutes. I should mention that I always prefer my steaks cooked medium-rare. Often, I receive steaks that aren't cooked to my liking, but I can typically manage with medium or even rare without complaint. However, my 8-ounce sirloin was absolutely perfect—delicious and exactly how I like it! I'm still thinking about it after dinner. My husband also enjoyed his country-fried steak and potatoes, and our daughter was treated to sweet potatoes by Richard, who was very fond of her, as were many of the staff. I did, however, refuse to share my steak! Megan was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, and everyone else was equally welcoming. The role thrower and muffin provider were great additions to our experience, too. We're definitely coming back!

Brought our 9yr old son here for the first time and he loved all the decor... all the model ships and discovered what a typewriter is hahahah. The ladies totally spoiled him with all the muffins and rolls to fill him to his hearts content. All you'd hear him say...i love this... we need to come back. Food is awesome, service is better. Drove here all the way from Katy and was totally worth the drive lol happy 4th of July yall!
