Pomodoro's Cucina Italiana Clear Lake

The hostess was on the phone but someone greeted us right away sat at a table in a few minutes. The interior is beautifully decorated. The pesto fettuccine with bacon wrapped scallops was very delicious. The garlic bread was good but not hot. We will definitely come again to try out the other dishes.

We arrived 15 minutes early and were immediately sitting at a nice table near a window in the middle of the room. Our waitress was pleasant and well versed on most menu items. We got our drinks and a filled mushroom appetizers and our soup and salad dishes followed soon after the completion of our appetizer bowl. The curly dishes followed soon, my Ribeye Steak and Shrimp Delmonico was very tasty and the pasta served with it perfectly along with the rich creamy sauce. My friend was very free about his choice of the Grouper Fish Court that he also ordered. The server was very attentive without overlaying. For us it was a great culinary experience. My neighbor, who joined me for dinner, said he would take his wife safely there to try, and we both agreed that we would eat there again. Overall, we had a great culinary experience at reasonable costs.

Husband andI enjoyed an excellent dinner on an early Saturday evening. A glass of wine, clam appetizer, caesar salad, and entree followed by capaccino and a cannoli for dessert. This is our 4th visit since its opening and each time a different entree. All have been good. We will continue to return.

This charming neighborhood restaurant has great potential with just a few minor enhancements. The main courses we had were delicious, but the side salads left much to be desired. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for gathering with friends and family, especially considering the reasonable prices.

We were seated next to the pizza kitchen, and the noise made it hard for us to have a conversation, as the restaurant itself was quite loud.
