What Robert Popa Emil doesn't like about Perry's Steakhouse Grille- Baybrook:
First steak came out extremely charred and was sent back. We also told them that we wanted new grilled vegetables when the new steak arrived. The second steak was cooked perfectly but they brought back the same grilled vegetables which were cold. They recooked the vegetables, quickly but most were not grilled buy merely warm. Nice dining experience! I really enjoyed the Perry's July Anniversary Special, I ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms, Field Green, Pear and Candied Pecan Salad, Chargrilled Salmon with Mashed Potatoes and for dessert Orange Vanilla Cream Cheesecake. Food was great!
We had reservations for our anniversary. There were rose petals on the table. So sweet. Our waiter was kind, knowledgeable, and took good care of us. We started with oyster appetizers. We had ribeye steak and gourmet macaroni and cheese unlike most I've ever had. It was delicious. The steak butter is amazing. They even brought us a cute dessert since it was our anniversary. We were not rushed. Our courses were served in the proper order with proper timing. Everything about our anniversary meal was great!
Every time I eat at a Perry's Steakhouse, they make me feel like a king! The very best steak and seafood, wonderful appetizers and desserts. But then the staff makes you feel like you are the only diner in the restaurant! I really don't know where or how they find the best of the best to wait tables, cook, clean and serve, but they do. Their staff is second to none. Andrew waited on my wife and I tonight, and really made it special. The manager came and spoke with us, even the chef who prepared our flaming dessert at the table made it all seem effortless. Yes, I spend some money when I eat here, but I really feel I get the value of every dollar. I don't splurge often, but when I do I feel like I've gotten my money's worth at Perry's. Kinda makes me sad we don't live close to one.
Perry's is hands down one of my favorite places to go. Delicious food, great service and awesome drinks !! This visit my waiter was Sony and he was amazing never had to ask for a single thing and always made the appropriate suggestions if you like steak you will love perry's. I had the escargot as a starter, the steak fries and I had the bone in rib eye as the main meal with cauliflower Augratin which was divine and then finished it off with a orange cheesecake and a cappuccino that Sony made to order ! All around just made an amazing day even better.
Food is not what it used to be. Seems like cheaper cuts of meat are used and crab cake was mostly stuffing and not much crab. Disappointed as this used to be a go to place for amazing food. Very good service though.
