Some customers complained about the high prices post-Covid, smaller portions, sloppy presentation of dishes, overcooked steaks, and lack of service. However, other patrons praised the outstanding food, great ambiance, attentive service, and special requests being honored. Highlights included dishes such as the pork chop, smoked turkey with gravy, Beirto, and filet Perry. The restaurant also received recommendations for special occasions like anniversaries. While there were some negative comments, the positive reviews indicated that the restaurant could still be worth a visit for those looking for an excellent dining experience.
Always great! andrew is the best! and christina is always looking for us!
I had expected more definitiw. eating was just okay. we sat on the terrace, but they couldn't keep the curtains down because they claim that the wind knocks the curtains of their stretch. they were made of propane so that the terrace heatings were not on. it was 50 degrees outside. we had to freeze there. our register card was $300 for two people I expected, but it was just not worth it.
We had a family lunch with the fabulous pork chop. Our server Mike was excellent! Everyone had a great meal. Our brother-in-law was enjoying his first time Always a MUST when we visit Houston and we will be taking home pork chops from the Meat Market!
