my wife and I lived many years in China and we heard that this is the place to get authentic aromen. each dish was delicious and we discussed whether the fish or the aubergins were the best of the evening. either our guests were very impressed. they had made this cake, but they were nice enough to bring him in. Great atmosphere and family style eating. I never had a court we didn't like. also a great service! thank you!
Sometimes it seems like they change recipes. some days is eating spectacular and then some days is just so best. I wish they would win.
Not sure whether the property has changed or whether it has just gone downhill, but we will not return to Mala. the courts are not prepared, as well as them.

This place lives absolutely up to the reviews. the interieur is beautiful, there is a lush bambus-covered terrace, and eating is amazing. if they want a lot of Sichuan flavor, they give this place a try. we had the red oil gurkensalat, the funky noodles, and the red oil clouds, which only order from the cold appetizers and street food menu for a quick lunch. everything had this perfect acidic/salty/spicy taste combination that I was looking for, and of course the anesthetic kiss of the perennial pfeffer grains.
