Luby's - Houston

There was no one at the salad bar, just one person serving the appetizers, and three people handling the vegetables and bread, which made for an extremely long line to get food. I no longer dine in at Luby's because the lines are too slow and too long. I’ve tried taking out food, but I would prefer to come in and enjoy a sit-down meal.

My family and I were very disappointed yesterday, 9/9/23 on the service (rushing everyone), the food was cold(it's good that I wasn't from the health department.I do realize that we had a late supper, around 7p.m. BUT, the service and food should be as GOOD when you OPEN FOR SERVICE and the SAME GOOD when you CLOSE.I consider Luby's as my second kitchen, meaning I frequently eat there.DISAPPOINTED!!!It shouldn't matter if I spent $1.00 or $100.00

The hushpuppies were overcooked, and the mac and cheese was watery. The green beans were pretty standard. The carrot cake, however, was good. It seemed like there was only one server for the entire restaurant. I usually enjoy Luby's, but this location is not meeting expectations lately.

The food has always been very good, and we love our waiters. They always take very good care of us.

"We had a nice experience at Luby's. The tables were clean, and we appreciated the complimentary napkins. The drink selection was good, and we found the service at the cash register to be efficient. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, and we enjoyed the tasty recipes offered."
