I'm not a big sushi fan. to the luck had kuu a couple dinge looked really good. I won't lie, it's quite expensive, but the food presentation was beautiful. However, the portions were very small and I had starving (there were 5 pieces with the size of the pig bell). I will mention that the squash purée was absolutely wonderful, it was like a dessert. the service was great and the birthday girl had a great time. View all feedback.
Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and the standout dish was undoubtedly the foie gras nigiri. It was a delightful culinary experience, overshadowing the foie gras uni nigiri, which, while good, didn't quite match up. I would recommend sticking with the foie gras nigiri for a truly indulgent treat. The freshness of all the other dishes was exceptional. The shrimp, with a notably spicy flavor, tantalized our taste buds, although we wished there were more than three pieces. Each dish we tried showcased the restaurant's dedication to quality and freshness. As a foie gras fan, I couldn't help but think of Kara Robata, known for their use of this delicacy. If this restaurant added more foie gras dishes to their menu, I would eagerly become a regular. The service, overall, was commendable but there was some room for improvement, especially since it wasn't busy last night. We were there for a birthday celebration on a Friday night, and the highlight was a violinist serenading us with a birthday song, a charming touch. However, there were some oversights, like forgotten hot tea and infrequent check-ins, which were a bit disappointing, especially considering our bill of almost $500 including tip for four people. In conclusion, despite some minor service hiccups, the culinary experience was impressive enough to make us want to return.
I decided to surprise my husband for his birthday by taking him to this restaurant, and the food was outstanding. Our waiter, Julio, was extremely helpful since it was our first visit, and he recommended his favorite dishes. We tried the Toyosu sashimi box, Kanpaccio, King Crab Sunomono for cold/raw dishes, and for sushi we had the June and Kuu rolls. Everything was delicious and the flavors all complemented each other perfectly. The portions were tasting menu sized, so make sure you're not too hungry. We had a great time, especially thanks to the excellent customer service. Thank you Julio for a memorable experience!
I love this restaurant and can't wait to go back. We enjoyed a huge amount of sushi. The miso cod dish is amazing and definitely shouldn't be skipped. I give it 5 stars.
Solid spot for sushi—they were out of some items when I last went, but the experience was overall very nice
Stopped by for a quick bite during lunch and the selection was very fresh and tasty. Definitely be back to try out a nice dinner date.
