I came here for my friend's birthday dinner (he is not vegan) and they had a lot of tasty options. We started with the tofu salad rolls (I asked for no aioli, as it's not vegan, but the dish had plenty of flavor on its own). Then I ordered the fried cauliflower tacos (they used a different sauce on it, the vegan diner just needed to ask their server to make it vegan). They have other vegan options or can accommodate... What User doesn't like about Joey:
I had a very disappointing dining experience at this restaurant. It started off well with friendly staff, but quickly went downhill when I was served raw chicken. I had to wait a long time for my meal, while everyone else at my table had already finished eating. I tried to order something else, but that also turned out to be poorly cooked. The manager was unprofessional and rude when I tried to address the issues. I... View all feedback.

The customer service is impeccable, the food is amazing, the ambiance is relaxing. A great place to have a great time.
Parking : valet or park in the garage where you have to walk Location: this restaurant is in the middle of the parking lot Customer service: someone would greet you right away as soon as you walk in. Then offer a complimentary glass of champagne while you're waiting. All of the staff were very friendly and nice, it would be a reason for me to enjoy there. Food: my favorites was the steak, cauliflower, and the crab cake. Everything else was good too, but those were my favorites. Server was kind enough to offer to split the plate as I wanted to share with my friend. Totally recommend this place!!
My wife and I dined at Joey uptown on a Saturday at 9 pm. First impressions of the restaurant I thought, Wow this place looks vibrant! And it was. Our table was not quite ready, but we were offered complimentary champagne while we waited about 5 minutes to be seated. I would give the restaurant 5 stars based on the food alone, but I 'll explain the 4 star rating in a bit. We started off with two delicious appetizers the roasted corn guacamole (which is a MUST have) and the Korean fried cauliflower. The guac is out of this world good and I don 't just hand out compliments About food like that often! The Seranos were Good and the use of feta was spot on to complete it. The fried cauliflower has a perfect crunch and tasty Korean barbecue flavor to it. 5/5 for appetizers! Entrees: I went for the lobster and shrimp ravioli in the truffle Buerre blanc sauce and it was spot on. Pro tip: add a slice of their homemade garlic bread to dip in this white heavenly sauce!! Amazing dish. My wife had the gulf shrimp peanut curry and it was very flavorful and had lovely large gulf shrimp. 5/5 for the entrees. Why the 4 star review? Well, the drink menu was lacking. Also, their wine list was very average in my opinion and they don 't even list the years on their white wines which matters to me. We ordered a Pinot Gris which was just average. Also they sent a sommelier out to open the twist off bottle for us and pour it for us. Seriously... don 't do that. It 's actually insulting. After that, our server was not seen any more I guess she was very busy. The service was not great but I 'm only deducting 1 Star because they were packed full and a table of 2 Gets less priority over larger tables. However, I did notice a table of 4 that was long done eating getting way more attention than we ever got. To put things in perspective, our water glasses were never refilled once during the entire meal. In fact, the only time we were served was our water initially was poured and the wine bottle was opened (twist off) by the sommelier and our first glass was poured. Our food was brought to us appetizers followed shortly by our entrees. Each item was Brought by someone different. I was surprised that not a single person came by and asked us how anything was tasting or if we needed anything else. Surely, you want some validation that your food is amazing? The service was poor. The transaction of paying felt very mechanical to me. The server had me insert my credit card and add my tip right there in front of her on a tablet device and it felt very transactional and there was no human element where we engaged with the server it almost felt like I was paying for my transaction online for a takeout order. Again, the food is phenomenal but service was a 2/5 and drink service was a 3/5. Joey uptown is a really wonderful restaurant and it seemed bizarre to me that they didn 't offer us Perrier water for a charge or something better than lukewarm tap water. Additionally, the table next to us ordered the margarita and it looked like something I can make at home or pay $7 for elsewhere. Just reading through their drink menu had me yawning in boredom. You can do better. Go look at Anvil. Would I return? Perhaps for carry out yes. But I would not dine in because it sounds like a club inside with loud music and the service is fast but not friendly. Transactional.
