Gyro Hut - Houston

Good evening Houston, I went to one of my favorite restaurants and got hit with an inflation plate of food, they went UP on their prices, and instead of providing the plate they've always served, I got this hand-side styrofoam container with a third of the food, I got home and just had to laugh. The undeniable GREED of this owner, to believe that your regular customers wouldn't see that you are serving a third of the food is astonishing, But this is happening everywhere and what these GREEDY people are doing is disheartening their customers who would stay loyal to them. The best thing about Houston is that there are numerous places to get a quality meal at a value. So if I were you, I'd pass on this restaurant and if you're new to Houston, drive on by.

My kids loved the gyro and chicken with rice. Their sauces are pretty good too. It's a great quick lunch/ dinner.

I visited Gyro Hut for the first time and ordered the Combo Platter with chicken and lamb, along with the lamb gyro fries. I was thoroughly impressed by the flavors of both dishes! The combo platter was perfectly balanced with rice, meat, and vegetables. I usually hesitate to order chicken at restaurants because it can be dry, but the chicken here was fantastic! The lamb gyro fries were also delicious, and everything was made fresh to order. I expected the red sauce to be spicy, but personally, I found it to be mild. However, both the red and white sauces complemented the other flavors in the dish nicely. Overall, it took about 10 minutes from walking in, placing my order, to receiving it. The service was excellent and quick. The restaurant has a small seating area with a few tables for those who want to dine in. Overall, I would rate my experience a perfect 5/5!

Last night I went to this store to pick up a delivery order and the guy behind the counter that seemed like an Hispanic male was very rude when I tried to check in and give him the name on the order. He waved me off and didn’t respond. He was also sloppy while dishing out the food. I’ve been to this store over 20times in the last 2months an never had any issues. This guy needs to be trained properly or removed for unruly behavior before he runs customers away.

You need to wear hairnets, first time here we got a long hair in our plate, they refunded it.Today we came back, this was the best tasting gyro spot out of the 3 places we tried, we understand stuff happens, like hair, but they're still not wearing hairnets. But we're still ordering, so that should tell you something about how much we like it ?Came back again ? still no hair nets, and we'll probably keep going back ?But please... Hairnets!
