The restaurant we visited on Mother's Day had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. The menu had a variety of options to choose from and each dish was beautifully presented. We enjoyed our meal and the attentive staff made the experience memorable. I'm almost afraid to write this, but Down House has the best chicken and waffle I had. And the Mac and cheese. I know Jus Mac's downstairs...
I recently revisited Down House for brunch and decided to sit outside. The servers were helpful and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the well-made burger and the side salad was also tasty.

A cool meeting place. Good service and a nice cocktail menu and several wines on the glass to go with the beer list. My shrimps and grits were a bit cold and our other things were just fine.
