Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We had lunch with our soldier in uniform and were quite disappointed to find out that they don’t offer a military discount. Several sources online mentioned that Cracker Barrel does provide one. It was an awkward moment in front of our soldier when we were told there was no discount available. As for the food, it was just okay, and we also received the wrong check at our table.

Terrible, terrible service! I waited 15 minutes just to get a seat, even though the place was clearly empty. After that, I waited another 13 minutes for anyone to come to my table. If you're looking for a place where you'll be treated with respect, don’t come here. This experience was really disappointing and upsetting. If I could, I would give it zero stars.

This is a fantastic restaurant! The pancakes are incredibly delicious, and the portions are generous. The coffee is great, plus they refill it for you. The bread they serve is exceptional. I really appreciate that they send you text updates about your table and provide honest estimates of the wait time.

Had the chicken fried steak. It was pretty good, but next time I will stick with the pancakes. You just can’t beat the pancakes! Service was great. The restaurant is super busy, so it’s very loud. I like the orange juice with fresh pulp, but I’m not a fan of the ice chips. We were told the wait would be 40 minutes, but turned out to be only 12 minutes. The restaurant is clean and the store is packed with gun things to purchase.

There was no wait time for a table. We were seated very quick. The food came quick and was amazing I had shrimp and my boyfriend had steak along with a half and half lemonade and the waitress was so sweet. Her name was Melissa and was just so friendly and was just so nice. They have a nice store with a bunch of cute clothes and toys for kids and adults. Definitely recommend this place
