This restaurant is located in the Mahatma Gandhi district aka Hillcroft area. I wanted a quick snack and had their kebab roll (Chicken) and one chai (tea) to go with that. It was filling and not that expensive (under $9). I will probably go again...More View all feedback.
What Murl Dare doesn't like about Udipi Cafe:
Imagine paying $45 for 2 people, just omelette paratha and chicken roll, such a terrible chicken roll with over boiled chew chicken inside? ordered for mint limonade, can you not believe that there is thick mint cahutney literally on top and sugar syrup on the bottom, can?t even drink with the small straw when it took it and came back with more of mint cahutney on top?.how to drink? Wow, this food was so delicious. I don't remember exactly what I ordered, but it was great and with good portions. The environment was bright and open. Very family oriented. Will be back. InshaAllah
One of my favorite spots in Houston. Your bungalow is probably the best I had in the USA. also tried the Raj Kachori and Beef Samosas who were great ashes
Always a great experience in Bismillah. I tried everything from Biryani to Burger to Pizza and everything is great. They also offer an excellent service and communicate well with takeover orders
Visited here for departure during the area. I have beef cabobs, slider and a burger. They accidentally gave me the wrong burger (I ordered Black Mamba, but got something else. Anyway, my whole food was fantastic, the sliders were my favorite. Service was prompt. The restaurant has a very modest interior, but clean and functional. Good value.
I want to take a moment and recognize this as a 5 star place. Not only for the amazing food but also the hospitality and service of the people there. Our food was so amazing and the flavor so authentic and rich but the welcome of the staff made it all that much better. Explaining the dishes and the sauces was a great experience. Also the mango drink was amazing. I will be coming back here when in Houston highly recommend everyone to try this place!
