I'm sure the sandwiches at the place are really good, but my experience with these sandwiches were not good. I bought one from a local grocery store and I paid $6.50 for mostly bread one slice of turkey, cheese, and a single pickle. Only giving two stars because it tasted really good. You guys have to step it up on the size, this is Texas not California.
Update new Bonh Mi sandwich delicious, plenty spicy without the jalopenas. Bread perfectly toasted plenty of meat. Had a side of Tabuli and Vodoo chips. Must try it! Dec 10 2021. Po' Boy turkey and swiss cheese on the slow rising bread was delicious; added lettuce tomato. Tabouli was the best I ever ate. Creamy and not dry. Antone's new sandwich is pamento cheese on toasted rye. Very good too. Not crowded and price reasonable. Right off 610 San Felipe. Will be back!
$10 some change @Austin Bergstrom Airport bought me a ?famous? Antone?s Turkey Swiss Po?boy yesterday. A day later I am still wondering about that awful sandwich. ?When did the Antone?s ever make sandwiches?? Antone?s Austin Night club is trulyFamous and amazing but Dang they need to stop making Sandwiches. Actually, Antone?s would never put their name on such asubpar product, Ah ha maybe someone is riding the coattails of their good name Antone's should file a lawsuit! So I googled it? This poor tasting po?boy sandwich has nothing to with The truly Famous Austin Antone?s? and it was the worst airport sandwichI have ever had. 12 inches of bread, 2 pickles, 2 slices of cheese 2 slices of Turkey with 2 tablespoons of Mayo. I thinkAustin Airport should stop selling them ? it may make travelers wonder whether the truly famous Austin Antone?s is worth it.
A quintessential part of Houston History! But hey they?re more than just po boys! The other day I was in the mood for a classic club, and they make a GREAT one!! Toasted bread, ham, turkey, bacon normally the do Swiss and cheddar, I opted fordouble Swiss, no cheddar. And hold the tomato for me. It wouldn?t be a po bit stand if the didn?t offer Zapp?s chips!! So Igrabbed a bag of Voodoo!! And then lemonade to wash it all down!! It had to be homemade and so good! Check them out!
