Reviews - Kulcha Express
Reviews summary
Kulcha Express presents a culinary experience that varies greatly among diners. While some rave about its authentic Punjabi flavors and friendly service, particularly praising standout dishes like the kulcha and Amritsari fish, others express disappointment over portion sizes and inconsistent food quality. Issues such as unappetizing dishes, hair found in meals, and subpar customer service have left some patrons unsatisfied. Nevertheless, for those seeking home-cooked taste with reasonable prices, this eatery manages to charm, making it a spot worth exploring—though diners are advised to carefully consider their selections and expectations.

these are the same people who have led the old heavens restaurant and now have bought their old quality in this new location (only on the road from the old place.) I can not recommend them enough if they miss the old quality, then they try this new place. View all feedback.
What bharat p dislikes about Kulcha Express:
Overrated Eatery: Went there with a lot of hope of taking home real Punjabi tasting food. However, I was very disappointed not only with portions but to partake palak paneer and daal making devoid of fresh spices. Palak was crushed paste and paneeer pieces straight from packing, not sautéed. How can they get away charging £9.50 for a timy portion? I don't understand My advice is that there are other authentic places... View all feedback.

The service at this restaurant is pretty awesome. All of the staff are nice, especially Gurjinder, Pankaj, Jassi, and Komal. They are always there to take care of you. I visit almost every day for snacks and tea. The service is top-notch from start to finish.
Terrible service. Discovered a hair in the kulcha. They didn't apologize and only replaced my thali with a naan. When I asked for a refund or replacement of the whole thali, they only refunded £4 for the naan. The thali was almost £8. The food was not enjoyable at all. The poor customer service completely turned me off. Will not be returning to this place!!!!
This place seems to have gone downhill since our last visit pre-covid. It used to be our favourite lunch place for Indian street food, but yesterday's visit was disappointing. We ordered our usual Makai Roti and Spinach saag. Saag was fine, but Roti was as hard as Papad. When asked, we were told that is how it is supposed to be. So not true.
Food was cold and hard. Portions weren’t worth the money. Waited 1 hours just for one main course. They don’t care about their services.

I wanted to eat today for the first time with my man and my 2 year old son in the restaurant. eating was absolutely amazing! really authentic, freshly prepared eating. tried like real home cooked food! the staff was very friendly and welcoming. we loved the fact that we could ask them to take flavors for my sonny food, as most Indian restaurants do not do this in the rule. would definitely recommend this place if their mother needs a break. or if they just eat something home cooked. that was also a reasonable price. can't go wrong. up from me!
What a jewel of a fund. wonderful fresh food and friendly service. I work slowly through the menu and love each second. that will be my hangout here in southall. I just wish they could open early for breakfast, but I can always have a brunch! aloo parantha rocked the other morning and dinner tonight was a rash!
This small gemstone in southall is one of a kind. eating is very authentic, fresh and delicious. the personal is incredibly helpful and professional. 100% recommended for all.
Great food! Although I'm not a vegetarian, I prefer meat lol, but this place is just amazing! The food is delicious, staff is super friendly ! Will definitely return and recommending this pace to everyone
