What Tourist713029 dislikes about Cafe Central:
I've been coming here for many years. The food now is really poor. It's either insipid, cold, burnt or not what you actually asked for. After being a 7 days a week customer we eventually we stopped coming here. It's a pity as the owners are really nice and have had a hard time of it lately. Needs completely new kitchen staff, new suppliers and especially a short chef than knows how to cook good food. View all feedback.

I work nearby and decided to stop in for breakfast. The food was amazing and the staff was really friendly. I couldn't be happier with my experience. I highly recommend giving this place a try. I enjoyed it so much that I will be returning for dinner tonight.

If you're in the area, make sure to check out this place. I stumbled across it one morning and I don't think you'll find a better café for breakfast or lunch. The coffee is superior to most that you'll find in Starbucks, Costa, etc. A definite 5-star experience.

First thing I noticed when I walked inside was how clean this place was! It’s very light airy too and much larger on the inside than you’d guess from the outside. I got a jacket potato with chilli con carne, it was a huge portion and real homemade chili, not from a can. Really good service. Went back another day and got the beans and cheese jacket potato, I asked for less cheese because I’m on a diet : Staff are so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. They don’t kick diners out when it’s getting close to 5pm and people were still ordering food at closing time. Good service is clearly number 1 priority at this cafe. Tea tastes amazing and comes in proper cups with real milk.
