This local diner is unbelievably delicious and popular among the locals. Located at a michi-no-eki in the center of Akkeshi, it gets crowded during lunch hours depending on the day, but the taste and price here are superior in every way. Among other recommended dishes, the grilled meat rice bowl made with pork belly is truly outstanding. The grilled meat ramen set with ramen on the side is also a generous portion (not a half portion, but a full one). There are about eight seats at the counter and two table seats. However, it is unfortunate that the owner is overheard by customers talking about their employees in a negative manner, such as saying "they are useless" or "let's fire them." Such gossip is not pleasant to hear and is the only disappointing aspect of this place.

The restaurant is spacious, clean, and offers generous portions at reasonable prices. I was impressed by the amount of food you get for the price. The Kaki Fry set meal comes with soup, pickles, a generous portion of rice, and simmered pumpkin. The soup that came with the set meal had a Chinese-style flavor with a hint of pork bone, which was delicious and rich in taste. The Mini Set, consisting of ramen and pork bowl, came with pickles, spaghetti salad, and a side dish for 900 yen, but it felt more like a regular portion set than a mini set. The soy sauce ramen seemed to be made with the same soup base as the set meal, and it was delicious. The miso ramen had a sweet taste that even children can enjoy. The staff at the restaurant were friendly, the service was quick from ordering to serving, and they even offered free coffee, both hot and cold.

I recommend the miso ramen. It is rich and addictive.
