Incredible dinner, service and value. Other patrons were not necessarily respectful of their surroundings (i.e.,allowing children to run around unsupervised and walk on dining table) but that is no fault of the Homestead and gave us stories to tell for years. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Special Events Dining At Omni Homestead:
we went in april to one with the sassaia weinbauer who was fabulous. which was top notch, it was held in the tower conference room, which is a smaller, intimate space than the crystal ballroom. the youngest we went with stinson weingut and another virginia weingut was not almost as good. the weeping were best in order and in the bigger one felt a bit separated. it was very difficult to hear and understand what the ed... They special event was catered by a local bbq place. They also had live music. Food was excellent and the event was lots of fun.
After waiting for 20 minutes, I had to get up from the table to ask for a drink. The crab claws were frozen, the food was cold, the coffee was cold. Overall horrible experience and will never dine here again
The Virginia Wine experience provided by the Omni Homestead is a great event. The chef does a wonderful job matching the Virginia Wines to his creations.
The Omni Homestead wine experience was wonderful. Food was top notch and the wine provided by Glen Manor Winery good. Host Ashliegh from Glen Manor gave a very interesting history of the winery and the composition of each wine. Two thumbs up on this experience.
We were disappointed that for the price we paid the food was not hot, and we were never offered refill on beverage. We also felt rushed- our reservation was at 1 but by 2:45 they were starting to clean up!
