Tripped across this Little Gem! These are absolutely the best fried pies I’ve ever had! Not greasy, fillings top notch and homemade. The best most stable crust I’ve ever come across for a fried pie. Friendly owner and very handsome. It’s become a every three or four day event. These pies even last a day or three If you just wrap them in original bag. No soggy mess as so many others. Second day in a row that I have had a fried pie! Oh my goodness these are amazing. If you are in the hot springs area stop by for some awesome food that is different from your everyday meal! I have had peach, pecan, coconut cream, a bit of banana cream, and chicken feta and spinach. I recommend them all!
You must stop and try, these are the very best fried pies you will ever eat. You would never know they are fried, not greasy, a wonderful flaky crust and full of flavor. I warn you, they are addictive.
Saw this place online with good reviews. Wow what a hit. We got 5 because I couldn 't narrow it down. Just finished the last today. Our choices were peach, cherry, blueberry, empanada and chicken pot pie. All were a '5 ' but the meat ones hit it out of the park.
I have had all but five flavors of pies, and I can honestly say Morrison 's Fried Pies lives up to their claim of 'Best Fried Pies in the South '. Other pies like McDonald 's or Popeye 's don 't even compare. Their variety of flavors, hand made crust, and guarantee of fresh-homemade everytime sets them head and shoulders above the rest! There isn 't one pie that sticks out as 'best ', because they are all good. However, if you 've never had a fried pie before, the peach or key-lime would be my recommendation, so go check them out. They have earned my repeat business, and I 'll bet they 'll earn yours!
