I thought I'd try the lunch that they'd advertise on their marquee. It was just okay. cleanliness is not their purpose this is a well established, local owner place. I guess it has its stand with the masters, but I could find a lot better place to go. the best part of Jack’s is the old timelines, display and article by hot springs historical past! great! not the service, cleanliness or eating. I decided to give their advertised lunch a try. It was a bit underwhelming. Cleanliness doesn’t seem to be a priority here; this is a long-established local spot. While it might have some charm, I know of better options nearby. The highlight of Jack's is definitely the historical displays and articles about Hot Springs' past—those were great! Unfortunately, the service, cleanliness, and food didn't quite meet my expectations.
The experience was okay. The establishment could improve its cleanliness, and it seemed like one of the waitresses hadn't bathed recently. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly. However, cleanliness doesn’t seem to be a priority here. It’s a well-established, locally-owned spot, and they do offer a buffet on weekends, but I wouldn’t choose to return.
Why is Jack's Pancake and Steakhouse closed? Will it reopen, and if so, when?
