Great atmosphere in the outdoor deck area and our server was awesome. We got the tree hugger pizza on gf crust, due to food allergies. We also created a 2nd veg pizza also on gf crust. The beers were very good as well. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Grateful Head:
as others have noticed, no vegan cheese offered. tree hugger pizza without cheese was still a good option. the olives are put up completely (not cut), cannot say that I have seen this before! the service was really friendly, but slow, and they were apologetic, but seems as if the operations had had a rough night. pizza was a little at the expensive end for the opposite, but it is a tourist city. Crust has parmesan. no vegan cheese only salads can be made vegan. the waitress said they changed their menu
No longer offer vegan cheese. my pizza also lacked arugula. we sat right inside, but wait for dinner and the check lasted forever. pizza was $17 and $3 for gf crust. I was hungry after that, as the gf pizza is so small. updated by previous review on 2022-03-16

Please note that the hours of operation are wrong, which I already alerted to Happy Cow. First we tried to go on a Monday night around 7:45 and they told us they decided to close at 7:30 that evening because two servers fell down the stairs and were injured, which seems like a safety hazard. They also told us their normal closing time was 8pm during the week. We tried again at an earlier time the next night and they were open, but it didn’t seem like they wanted to serve us for whatever reason. People were running around like crazy and everyone seemed exhausted it was a very strange feeling. Everyone was really nice, but there was a weird vibe. People seemed overworked and frustrated. Anyways, the vegan pizza was pretty good. The vegan cheese is about $4 extra, which I wish we would have known (it doesn’t say on the most updated version of the menu) and I probably would have ordered it without because I think it would have been just as good. We also ordered the shakedown salad without cheese and Italian dressing, which was pretty good I recommend it.
The Tree hugger with vegan cheese is amazing, and satisfies my olive obsession! I got the regular crust which is not vegan because they smear garlic butter on it before cooking. I simpy request they leave it off. I am not a big fan of gluten-free crust, but I hear there's is decent.
