Brought my overseas friends for the 15 course tasting menu (dinner and we were blown away. The creative genius of Spanish chef Rafa Martinez is truly a gift and the beautiful presentation of the dishes a real sight to behold! The owner Sandra Santos provided great hospitality and did her best to translate in English the complex menu (chef Martinez does not speak English . A special mention must be made to the waiter Rogerio Guoveia for his excellent service, witty repartee and great sense of humour which contributed immensely to the enjoyment of the whole evening. Highlights were the octopus, purple potato crisps, beetroot gazpachio, cheese and truffle, seabass with banana sauce (yes, really! and the heavenly chocolate dessert with edible paper. A real treat was the handheld mojito which was a lovely spectacle. After we finished, they served us an artfully presented box of sweets and the pineapple crisp was amazing! For CHF 99, this was a superb sensory experience and well worth it. The whole evening from food to service to hospitality to the people involved really left us in no doubt that the people involved presented everything with a lot of LOVE, and that is everything we could ask for :o
