Mcdonald's Family Restaurants - Horsham

Once again we found ourselves hungry and time poor whilst driving thru western Victoria. Probably the one thing that sticks out in my mind is whoever designed the drive thru waiting bay must of been under the influence of mind altering substances..

The new owners of the Horsham McDonald's have devalued the restaurant.They have cut costs in significant ways. Disposable cups and plates for those who want to eat in the café.Cutting staff, therefore long waiting times for takeaway food.Cleanliness has declined.The owners also own Ararat and Stawell McDonalds stores and these stores are also below average.I once complained to McDonalds head office about the below average food we received at the Ararat store, after which l received an abusive phone call from the owner.I found this very inappropriate. I would not recommend these McDonalds stores to anyone visiting any of the above mentioned towns.I am not a person who gives bad feed back in general but feel that the public should be aware.

We stopped by here and found the restaurant and toilets clean, service efficient and staff friendly. Our orders from the McCafe were good standard and we had no problem at all.

I know Its McDonald's but I must say the staff at this one were polite, respectful and efficient. There was a problem with their IT system whilst I was waiting but rather than just say 'sorry' and delay people they used common sense checked my receipt and made my order. Not often I see common sense these days so... well done guys.

Stopped here for a quick lunch on an interstate road trip on a busy weekend. Seemed cramped inside and not enough space at the front counter for customers. Our food arrived quickly but the Sprite drink did not taste right and had to be returned. After checking the staff advised that it did not have any 'syrup'. One of our Angus burgers also had to be returned as it did not have any bacon. Should not have to return food and drinks in any restaurant. Inadequate quality control and poor service. Air con was also too cold where we were sitting.
