The decor, vibe, and food were all excellent and unex... read more I was pleasantly surprised by the modern and inviting atmosphere at Baa 3400 from the moment we walked in! The decor, vibe, and food were all excellent and unexpected. Everything from the Brussels sprouts to the hummus and gnocchi was perfect. We finished off with a delicious lemon dessert. We also tried some cocktails from their extensive list, all of which were fantastic. The staff were lovely and attentive, making it a great night to celebrate my mother's birthday.

We were staying at a nearby airbnb and booked our Friday n... read more I really don 't know what to say except this was a memorable experience................but here goes! We were staying at a nearby airbnb and booked our Friday night dinner at this restaurant, which is situated within the Horsham International Hotel . We were greeted at reception by...Alfred, the black Labrador what a nice dog! and then were shown to our table in a trendy dining area. Our side by side table faced directly onto the road outside, an excellent vantage point for spotting trailers and B doubles thundering past! The service was prompt and we ordered cocktails, and then our food order (we were alerted that the food came as and when it was ready . We hadn 't finished our cocktails and the smoked trout croquettes arrived, and the bottle of excellent wine. We just about paused for breath and the Brussels sprouts arrived with the Parmesan coated fries. We like our sprouts crunchy, but a steak knife would have been handy to tackle these ultra crunchy babies. Then the salmon arrived and we were very confused as to what to get to next (bearing in mind my wife had yet to finish her pre prandial gin and tonic! Eventually we abandoned dinner and asked to relocate to some easy chairs to enjoy our wine and mull over the dessert choices. We had a lovely chat with a number of the very friendly staff, but suddenly the lights went out in the kitchen at 8.45 and we supposed dessert was probably not something we should suggest to the remaining staff! We ordered another glass of wine and decided we ought to depart for an early night while there was still someone there to accept our payment. Thankfully we were able to say farewell to Alfred before his bedtime (what a nice dog! and then took our indigestion home with us. This was a unique experience that I would recommend to anyone, not for the food, just the experience! Not to be missed!

The variety of dishes available is always delightful, and I appreciate how the menu changes, allowing us to try something new each time. The staff is friendly and very approachable, always willing to help in any way they can. I love the concept of large tables for groups or intimate seating for two. The atmosphere is sophisticated and classy, which is a fantastic enhancement for Horsham. P.S. The desserts are absolutely breathtaking!
