Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant received mixed reviews, with some customers expressing disappointment over unavailable menu items and overcooked steaks. There were concerns about the kitchen hygiene due to loud coughing noises. However, positive comments were made about the friendly staff, tasty food, and good service. The breakfast options were plentiful and well-prepared. Despite some minor issues with dry parts of meat, the overall food quality was good. Families seemed to enjoy dining here, with positive comments about the staff and the variety of options available. Despite some inconsistencies, the restaurant was generally well-received for its food and service.
I had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant, and was able to use my voucher for a free meal which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our waitress, Shirley, was extremely efficient and attentive, especially when I accidentally spilled my chips everywhere.
We were served by Molly this evening. She was quick, efficient, and very polite. The pub food was delicious. We will definitely be returning.
We keep coming back to The Station because of the friendly staff and the high quality of the food. Shirley is always great and makes time for a quick chat, and she helped us with a small issue with our order today. The steaks are usually the highlight here. Overall, we are loyal customers of the Beefeater chain. However, we were disappointed to see that both the main menu and the lunch menu have been altered in a negative way once again. The menus used to offer a lot of variety, but now there are limitations such as no choice of sauce with the starters and no plain chicken wings. The steaks no longer come with a glaze. We miss the option of a single burger from the main menu, as not everyone wants to order two burgers. Hopefully, they will consider adding a one beef burger choice in the future. Despite these changes, the prices are still reasonable even without loyalty vouchers. We frequent a number of Beefeater restaurants, but if the menu continues to decline and prices increase, our perspective may change in the future.
Ingrid,Tracy and a lass in training are the only reason this review is not negative. When will places like this start to support the staff front of house having to deal with a frustrated customer base
The staff at this restaurant are always friendly, helpful, and patient. I often bring a client here who enjoys the experience, as the staff always welcome her with open arms. Shirley, in particular, is excellent with my client, chatting with us when she has time.
