Al's Hum-dinger - Hoquiam

A nice little restaurant with a good selection of fast food. However, on our way back from Seaside, Oregon to Seattle, WA my wife and I tried calling multiple times before stopping by no one picks up the phone. It was Tuesday around 3 pm we decided to stop by for two things; fried mushrooms and gizzard. They ran out of gizzards. So, we ordered the mushrooms and headed home. It was one of those things/ days, it took us a little over an hour or so just to make it across the bridge. Traffic was heavy. I would have given this place another star if I got the fried gizzard and a restroom for the customers to use. The long trip there was not worth it unless you are on your way to or from the ocean shores. This doesn't make any difference, but the waiter took food to others sitting in their cars. Ours, the waiter made some gestures for us to go and get our food from the little window, knee-high. We love their food and will stop on our way to the shores or when we go fishing in the area.

I came here a little earlier today and got a sandwich with some onion rings. The service was excellent, and I appreciate the staff taking the extra time to make the food just to make sure everything came out right, opposed to other places like McDonald’s. Well I’m gonna be honest the food was good, I feel like it was just missing some thing. The sizes were unfortunately kind of small for how much you have to spend to get your food. Other than that though, I do recommend dropping by here. It’s definitely an experience I haven’t had in years.

Excellent! Had the cheeseburger without the relish. They were super accommodating and made it just like I like. Also had the onion rings, which were amazing! Take the time to know what comes on each item. Its unique and you may totally love it as is. The first time I went there I didnt like it because I didn't know about the relish. This time I asked and they customized it exactly the way I wanted. And it was juicy and perfect! I'm so glad I gave it a second try.

Nice little hole in the wall joint with tasty food! We planned to go to a different spot but we were told it was an hour wait for 3 cheeseburgers. So it was an easy decision to find another spot. The food was good and the prices were decent.

Love everything about this place..... Very retro which makes it even more COOL.....The girls work really HARD here making YUMMY food!! After you order at the walk -up window, you go sit in your car or just go hang around outside while they prepare your food... Once it's done, they either bang on the Plexi-glass side window to get your attention or motion you, if you're watching...... AWESOME
