Al's Hum-dinger - Hoquiam

This place certainly lives up to its name. The first humdinger was the impatient gal taking our order who just kept repeating is that all!? . The second humdinger was $32 for 2 people, which includes the 3rd and 4th humdingers... 5 onion rings, a handful of fries, a raspberry shake made with syrup and way too sweet. We ordered 2 humdingers. Mine had a weird taste of burnt oil ? that still lingers in my mouth hours later. The 7th humdinger was my wife asked for no tomatoes and got nothing but sauce and meat on a bun. And the final humdinger was a few hours later but I will spare the details.

I’m not sure how this place gets good ratings. We got the shrimp basket and fish and chips. The portions are small and it wasn’t fresh. It looks like they just got it from the store in the frozen section. Shakes were ok. Just pass on this place.

Would be 5 stars if it hadn 't taken 25 minutes to make two burgers and a shake. They were very tasty, though. Prices were very fair. Appreciated they made a 'burger salad ' out of my no bun burger order for no upcharge!

I've been seeing this place for a while now. And decided to stop on Miami for old-fashioned. Cheeseburger and milkshake, I'm coming back.

Always quick to serve. The workers are all a delight to interact with.
