Here's the deal with Sambusa King:: It's pretty great, but it's also weird. The HOURS are mysterious, I think they are only for lunch with a limited menu and are then open for dinner (maybe at 4 a.m.) with a full menu. You can always get Sambusas for lunch and it is moderate traffic in and out. There are no chairs at the tables, but it is not really a place to sit. Or maybe? The tables have no chairs, which makes it feel less like a sit-down place, but it’s still somewhat of a hangout. Dinner time is always bustling, though I haven't dined during those hours yet. As for the food, it's mostly quite delicious. The Sambusas are flavorful and satisfying. For lunch, they’re served up from a microwave, but they hit the spot. The goat and chicken with rice dishes are also substantial and delicious. I’ll provide more updates after I make a few more visits!
The meal was full of flavor and quite filling. I couldn't get enough of my $11 chicken and rice dish, and now I have some leftovers waiting for me in the fridge! The Sambusas were quite spicy, so I think next time I'll skip the paprika to enjoy them even more. However, they were delicious, and I can definitely see their potential. We will be back to try more of their delicacies.
This restaurant exudes warmth and happiness. We ordered the Gyros and Sambusa, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The Sambusa had a nice kick to it without overpowering the other flavors. The gyros were loaded with tender, juicy meat and bursting with flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and can't wait to return, even though it's on the far side of the Twin Cities from us.
This place may scare the white people here lol, but if you give him a chance, you will not be abandoned, the Sambusas are delicious spicy fantastic! The children loved them too! The guys who worked there were very nice and very generous, we sat at the table and one of the guys came by and gave us a huge dish of rice free and 2 bananas for the children's doses, he showed me a picture of his baby boy and said he had 2 more daughters at home overall great experience and I will definitely be back!
The customer service is one of them most positive and friendly I've ever experienced in my entire life across the world. 100% genuine, friendly and sincere. I was truly amazed how wonderful it was. Flavorful filling food you can get either pasta or rice. Ask for a recommendation. Get out of your comfort zone and try something new yall I didn't get the sambusas yet because they're always out you got to call ahead so they can save them for you.
