I recently moved to the area and decided to check out some local restaurants. Hoagies was quite busy and has a family-friendly atmosphere. The food was decent overall. Most of the staff were friendly; however, I did have one issue. When I pointed out to someone that there was syrup on the table and chair, which ended up getting all over my son's coat, she seemed more annoyed that we brought it up rather than apologiz... Wonderful small American diners open only during the early morning until noon. They have great prices for their menu and large portions with the orders. The staff is friendly and service is fast. Between us 3 we ordered a lot of food and the price was less than expected. You will enjoy going here for morning plates of eggs, bacon and pancakes while seeing the decor of Americana.
Old-fashioned neighborhood diner with Old-fashioned pricing! My little family loves coming here for breakfast. Tasty food and large portions. The pancakes are the same size as the plate! My family of 3 can typically eat here for $20-25 plus tip. I definitely recommend!
This place is amazing! The prices make me feel like I’ve traveled back in time. $5.10 for two eggs, bacon and toast!!! Our food was cooked perfectly and Michelle, our server, provided excellent service. I’d give them 100 stars if I could!
This is what I call a destination restaurant. It is a throwback to a 1960's. Brown coffee cups at each table. Antique advertising signs on all the walls, like a museum Large portions at more than reasonable prices. A pot of hot coffee at the table for your convenience. First time there will surely return again
Fantastic. I've lived in or worked in Hopkins for many years. Finally went to Hoagie's and now I'm angry at myself for not going early. Breakfast was delicious, generous, and extremely fairly priced. And our waitress was delightful. I'll be back soon, without a doubt.
