We traveled 2.5 hours to Birmingham specifically to have lunch at Papadeaux. As always, the wait was quite lengthy, so we decided to explore some different options. I'm really glad we did; we will definitely be back!

I ordered the Port of Spain's Cur... read more We had an amazing first experience from the moment we stepped into the restaurant, where the friendly staff greeted us warmly. I ordered the Port of Spain's Curry Chicken, which came with collard greens, mac and cheese, and fried okra. My husband chose the Kingston Combination Plate, featuring curry chicken, jerk chicken, and three oxtails. The food was served hot and was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend that everyone visit this restaurant, and we will certainly be coming back.

Most of the Mexican, Asian, and other non-American cuisines in this city have been merely average. However, the chicken here was cooked flawlessly, and the baked macaroni and cheese was just as fantastic. The cornbread was the best I've had since my grandmother passed away. You certainly won’t be let down! The portion sizes are quite generous as well.

Highly recommend the salmon cakes. Probably one of the best I've ever had(sorry mom). Wish dine in was still an option.

The food w... read more Dine in is NOT available!! We missed that point on google maps but decided to order anyway since we drove 25 minutes for it and we’re SO GLAD we did! The food was delicious!! The oxtails, tender and divine. Perfect portion sizes. I was able to make two meals out of it between the oxtails and two sides it came with. We’ll definitely be back!
