The sirloin was outstanding—cooked perfectly and incredibly tender. The rest of our meal was also quite impressive, and the waitstaff were attentive and helpful. I have an online order at the location hoover, alabama and after order completion and payment, was suggested to pick it up at 9:49p. the pick-up number was called at the arrival and the pick-up number was specified. a woman I believe to be also the general manager because to her business casual attire, pocked her head from the pick-up spot station several times to check how many cars had filled the 5 pick-ups that were all full. full of also the point that someone parked next to me in a handicap for picking up. at approx. 10:20p I decide to walk and ask for my order as well as other waiting mules. only to be told by this same woman that my order was ready, in the understood I have seen this woman several times and she is outside of three separate places. her excuse was that after 10:00 a.m. we do not deliver any food and not in the weather that the rain lasted for all 2 minutes. lukewarm eating and an unapologetic personal member leaves me without wish to apply this device or other applebees for the rest of this year. I don't ask much just some integrity and consider of employees to customers. parking: hoover, alabama a parking lot with 5 cars in it and 5 sitting in pick-up spots, showing the facility is not busy, but the waiting times are ridiculous.
This is not the first bad experience we have had at this location recently but decided everyone deserves a second chance. Walked in and were not greeted at all, no “we’ll be right with you”… nothing. Sat there while several people walked past us and still… nothing. We want be back but someone should definitely address the lack of customer service.
We had two for $30, both 4 cheese bacon mac. There was a little cheese in the bottom of the bowl but NO BACON (OMG)! The manager brought out bacon bits and more cheese but by that time, I was almost finished with my food. My son didn’t eat his food. This was not a good experience.
Made an online order. It was supposed to be ready at 8:11. IT TOOK FOREVER!! I sat at the curbside to go window for 20 minutes! No one ever came. I then went inside to the bar only to wait about 30 minutes. A man finally came and asked if he could help me. I told him that I had a to-go order and he looked at me like I was crazy, then proceeded to take someone else 's order! Really? If you weren 't going to help, why did you ask? A young girl then came out and asked if she could help. I told her that I had a to go order. She then disappeared in the back and NEVER returned!! Finally the man said, I 'll get your to go order Ma 'am, with a smirk on his face!! I did not leave the establishment until 8:55! I could have eaten in if I wanted to spend this much time in there! I understand that they are short staffed, but this was excessive! I received cold food, waited an unreasonable amount of time, and I won 't visit this location again!! Do better Applebee 's!!!!
Traveled to Shocco Springs and stopped here to grab a bite to eat. My waitress Ebony was really nice and attentive but the food was not that good. My steak was cold and my brownie bite was hard! Not bad, but need more improvement in the food area!
