The friendly Ukrainian waitress, who speaks perfect English, even managed to tell us some interesting information about the history of the building. Had a lovely meal with my partner. We both took the 5 course Signature Menu. We skipped the cheese board. Beautiful dishes with a perfect matching wine arrangement. My partner took the Bob package, which still included well-filled glasses. A neat, sleek modern open kitchen, where the freshness of the ingredients and preparation of the dishes is clearly visible. Of course as it should be, a nice chat with each dish, and with the wines from the sommelier. Pricey, but in terms of food, wines and ambiance absolutely worth it for those who enjoy good food and are willing to pay a little more for it. Together we lost €300 (including a well-deserved 10% tip). This consisted of 2x the 5-course menu, including 2x a wine arrangement (of which 1 Bob), a bottle of still water, and each a nice glass of sparkling Italian wine beforehand. It is a pity that no amuse-bouche or extra (intermediate) dish, dessert or coffee from the house was offered, which is usually usual, and would be appropriate for a restaurant with class and in this price category. Nevertheless, had a great evening. A beautiful website where the ambiance of the restaurant is also reflected, and is described as casual dining , which actually sums it up perfectly. Not too much fuss, good service, nice soft background music. Just relax and enjoy, intimate and even romantic, where you certainly don 't have to be dressed very fancy. Highly recommended for people who are looking for a good restaurant in (environment) Hoorn.

The wine with which we are surprised, but also the knowledge in wine and food. Correct and very friendly host, cordial kitchen brigade. Highly recommended for culinary West Friensland! We opted for the tasting menu which was well worth it! Everything was perfection. Service was exceptional and we were pleased to meet owner/chef Marque himself who was there to make sure our experience was top notch. It was! And we cant wait to go back.
