Was Anonym at Romul's a mag?
The parmesan cod was the best I've ever had, paired with fantastic locally grown spinach and a delicious cheesy risotto. We tried the lasagna for the first time, and we've visited frequently since. It was especially rich with olives—so tasty! If you're down here, definitely ask 'Romul' for a little recommendation! View all feedback.

Put our name down for a table. 45 minute wait, ok no big deal. Asked to sit at the 2 open seats at the bar and hostess berated us telling us there was a wait in front. When I asked about the empty seats she just said we couldn 't sit there . No idea what the issue was but definitely not a friendly atmosphere. View all feedback.
Stated they were too busy to take dessert orders… food was nothing special, disappointing experience.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited, even during my travels in Italy. The pasta and sauces are made fresh in-house.
If you're an Italian cuisine fan, you need to try this place.
We popped into Hood River after a late lunch at a nearby winery and were craving dessert and drinks. Finding nice dessert in Hood River around 5pm on a Saturday proved difficult, but then we walked by this place, saw there was a totally empty bar with barstools and many empty tables, so decided to stop in. When we told the hostess we were wanting dessert we were told “Full service only.” We weren’t even sure what that meant, so we just left, rather stunned. We could have easily spent $50+ bucks on drinks and dessert, sat at the empty bar and been out in an hour; they could have impressed us with good food, good drinks and excellent hospitality, and we would have come back again for dinner, but we weren’t given the opportunity to be impressed and leave happy customers. It was, well, a really strange approach to doing business (or not doing business). I’d leave a zero star review if that was possible, since we weren’t afforded the opportunity to eat.
We loved our meal sitting outside at Romuls. The appetizer bacon wrapped dates were amazing as was the meat and cheese platter. Our server was very polite and helpful. We will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Price per person: $20–30
