great beer and excellent service. if they like Belgium-style beer, this is the place. it seems to be a lot of whining out of the expat or outside the banking community, but this place has one of the most comprehensive beer menus in this style outside of some hidden pubs at different places in the world. if they are a beer lover, they do not listen to this laune. The dinge makes better. but uh men. in contrast to beer tastes the love not good when it is cold me Belgian beer is so special, even I can pick an amateur beer enthusiast out of any other, because the crinkled, fruit, old smokey hops smell like teppich and beautiful yeasts, all with their own distinctive smell and taste, and all unique in belgium. the hkd 180 of each de belgie serves over 160 Belgian beer and a wide selection of snacks. Roman pils bier a refreshing mouthfeel with a beautiful Malty attack, a fresh and light bitter finish mustels and frites the soul of Belgium. I chose the classic garlic, cream and white wine. the image speaks alone. skewers (sween and pork) surprisingly as good as thai skewers. classic cumberland sausage Austria straight pork sausage, my favorite is its delicious creamy and smooth kartoffel taste like the one I made
De Belgie is a Belgian bar and restaurant which offers up over 100 types of Belgian beers on draught and bottle on Elgin Street in Soho-Central District of Hong Kong Island. We have stopped here a few times in recent months and enjoyed our stops on each occasion. Not the place for easy-to-find brands such as Stella, Hoegartten or Leffe. This is where you come for Gouden Carolus Classic on tap, St.Bernardus, Rochefort, Westmalle, La Trappe, Westvleteren and other higher quality Belgian beers not easy to come by in Asia. Prices are on par with other bars and brewery style restaurants in the area. You can come for meal at de Belgie or pop in for a round of drinks and to watch English Premiership matches on one of the two tellies. Note: They have a 50% special on all draught and bottled beers for those who visit on Mondays.
If you like Belgian beer this is the place to go, around 200 Belgian beers and my favorite Brugse Zot on tap. Service not great.
Decent belgian beer pub. staffs are very kind and there are many belgian bottles and they also have sevral begian taps.
Beer is good, service is poor. Female server was more busy with her phone and tattoos than serving. Too bad, with better staff it could be a great place.
