We arrived on... read more We reserved at this restaurant for dinner, when we passed it while walking around Honfleur, because the menu looked as attractive as the setting. We arrived on time and were immediately seated at a very nice terrace table, and that 's when the pleasure ended. It...took a 1/2 hour for the waiter to take our order, and then another 1/2 hour for the appetizers and the wine to arrive. Really! One order the fresh lobster was overcooked and dry, and a total waste of 36 euros. I won 't go into the other orders, other than to say that they reminded us of what you get at truckers roadside restaurants in France Les Routiers except at a much more exorbitant price. There are lots of good restaurants in Honfleur: All you have to do is follow TripAdvisor reviews. In this case, we were really sorry we didn 't. Skip this one.

We entered the restaurant tha... read more We made a point of visiting this restaurant because of the menu. Especially the main of wild boar stew one of my favourite dishes. We entered the restaurant that although seemed open, we were met and shown through the kitchen on to a completely different...restaurant!! At first we were a little concerned but as we were presented with the menu it was the same. It then became apparent that the two were one and the same. L 'Ecluse is the more modern side of the business and the other is a delightful old world restaurant with open fire and lovely decor. The food was delicious and at €15 for an excellent three course meal, not to be missed. Wine by the carafe was the most expensive of our stay but still worth a visit. Definitely visit again. The other restaurant is called "Le Chat qui Peche. Will definitely visit again
