The mussels were delicious and the portion was generous. However, one point is deducted because there wasn't enough staff at lunchtime.
Great food and super friendly service. Honestly, we had a really, really good time . Thanks again to the whole team for your hospitality
Great discovery with a very friendly waitress and server and good advice. Mussels marinière on the menu: excellent, meaty and tasty. Thanks to the cook and the whole team.
Excellent restaurant, I highly recommend it. The food, service, and welcome were outstanding.
Nothing to complain about the food, it was really good, from starter to dessert! Simple but successful recipes for a very affordable price. I took the menu for 23 euros (tomato mozzarella with pesto sauce, fried mussels with cream and a panna cotta with red fruits, my friend took a piece of beef served with a real pepper sauce) The service is also very good . We were served by very smiling young people. The only downside is the decoration of the place which at first glance does not necessarily give a great impression and yet..... I will return there with friends!

If you want a fish And chips, don't go anywhere else. It is perfect and their tartare sauce also. Very good cider. Very pleasant and efficient service despite the world.
A good place to eat. A menu card with fresh and regional products. The dishes are well cooked, nicely presented. From the fare point of view, the menus are offered from 19 euros: entry, dish and dessert. The reception and service are also at the rendezvous! We had lunch today. Quick support, quick installation and dishes quickly arrived. Copious dish just as you need. 62 euros for 1/2 bottle of Sancerre, a 1/2 bottle of samp, 2 marine mussels, 2 cafes being on the terrace in a tourist town on the edge of the port, it is more than acceptable... Oh, yes, and the toilet is clean.
Very good reception. We really have a good meal. The service, the meal, everything was perfect. I highly recommend.
Service to the top!, and very kind server, we arrived with a baby and the server took all the steps directly so that we wouldn't be bothered, even to change the layer they didn't have a changing table, and the waiter in 2min found us a similar solution for the bottle, I didn't even have the time to ask that it was already waiting for me to give it. The meal was perfect cooking of the perfect meat, fried mussels at the top. We advise you if you take the formula to take the frog and camembert crispy: I who don't like the frog, well with this crispy his pass alone. And the pimme with the salted butter caramel is just a slaughter! We ate very well and we were very welcome. Thank you.

This is an uncomplicated restaurant with quite good food, much less price than many other choices at this tourist destination. Do not expect Michelin Star presentation and quality, but you will not be disappointed, most likely. The outside seats are good, the service of the inexperienced young people is... good.
Marvelous food, on a nice terrace with very friendly and swift service, really a fantastic experience and furthermore for a reasonable price.
We had some great meals in our short Normandy visit, I'm not convinced Le Champlain was one of those. It was our final meal of the trip and unfortunately the most disappointing. Our visit was impromptu, we were hunting around and one of the set-menu's...here took my wife's fancy. We had one of each of the set-menus. My, more expensive, set-menu actually seemed to be off lesser quality. The scallops were tiny and the presentation of the dish a little sloppy which made the meal seem cheap (frozen? . My wife's steak main was certainly edible but again, didn't seem of particularly good quality as a seemingly tough piece. The desserts made up for a disappointing main course. The chef-special/homemade tiramisu was fantastic. Service was good throughout and our bill was considerably less than if we had visited one of the other nearby venues. There is value here but I feel a lot of that comes from a compromise in quality.
We had planned to go to another restaurant that was completely booked and came over this that had a nice sound menu that oysters t9 at the beginning were nice followed by a steak with right chips and green pfefferkornsauce the steak became too. perfect medium rare. chips were hot and crispy, sauce was beaten. my man had a pasta dish with salmon and a beautiful bright lemon sauce, he had cheese and I had a cream brûlée to finish, the wine list not mentioned house wine, but it is in 500ml carafe and very pleasant. beautiful meal would return here definitiw.
We came into this restaurant as it was the only one we could find with the room, but the menu looked good, and the staff was nice so it was good. However, when I ordered the tagliatelle and salmon dish, I was a great idea at the discovery. the devil crumbled (also known as coriander) in my eating. now I am aware that some people can enjoy this juicy taste, but it is also a well-known fact that many people have a genetic disappointment for such a more crumble, and I am appalled and tied up why it was not revealed on the menu, as this must come with a warning! other 2 meal times (moules steak) we ordered but nice.
