I ended up with a stomach... read more This restaurant was terrible. We ordered fried oysters, which were huge, but they were mostly breading with very little oyster inside. I ended up with a stomach ache that kept me up all night. We sat outside, and there was bird droppings everywhere. As we were eating, a bird even dropped something in my beer. That was the last straw for us—we paid the bill and left, never to come back. The only positives were the view and the cold beer.

The food was typical pub fare—decent, but nothing extraordinary. The chowder was alright, but I can be a bit particular about it. Overall, it was a nice outing.

I've been to the FL Cracker Restaurant many times but have only passed through the Monkey Bar. This time, I ordered the Homosassa Springs Lemonade, and it's incredibly delicious—especially on a warm summer day! The staff and bartenders were very friendly, and there’s plenty of seating with a perfect view of Monkey Island (though no monkeys yet due to renovations). It's a great way to spend a few hours. If you're interested in sightseeing, they have golf carts and pontoons available for rent. I highly recommend it as a nice stop if you’re in the area!
