Chili's Grill - Homewood

The restaurant was nearly empty and we waited 40 minutes to be seated. They did not allow us to at least sit down and get comfortable. Our group of 8 was placed at a small table, so we had to rearrange our seating to fit everyone. We left as the restaurant was closing.

I still love the skillet queso after all these years. I also tried the Santa Fe chicken salad, which I found to be delicious. One small thing that I particularly enjoyed was their iced tea! As a big tea drinker, the quality of a restaurant's iced tea can make a big difference for me. The downside of my visit to Chili's was that it took a few minutes for anyone to welcome me and seat me, and they only had yellow packets for sweetener, not sweet n low.

The experience was terrible. We ordered drinks and waited for the bartenders to fulfill our order. When our drinks finally arrived, they were cold. The fries were replaced, but they were also terrible.

The food was served cold and the clams were not cleaned properly and overcooked. The pasta was also cold and the cheese on the quesadilla was not melted. The salad was also awful. Overall, a terrible dining experience.

When we arrived at the restaurant, it wasn't very crowded and we were able to get a nice seat. The staff was pleasant and our server, Ivy, was excellent. We encountered a minor issue, but it was quickly resolved with no problems, making our date night a great experience!
