Was Matt I at Dashers Corner Pub a mag?
I have eaten here five times and have never had a bad meal. This most recent visit was the absolute best I’ve experienced. Everything was not just good, it was flawless in every respect. The Mules were the best I’ve had anywhere; the clam chowder was delicious; the ciopino was amazing, flavorful and chocked full of perfectly cooked seafood; and my dining companion’s steak Diane was cooked to perfection, exactly as or... What Steve dislikes about Dashers Corner Pub:
Service was as good as it could be due to short staff. Tonya was great. Calamari was possibly the worst we have ever seen. Fried to shoe leather. Too busy to file our complaint. Took forever to get our last drink. So much so it ended up as a dessert that had to be drunk quickly as we were going to a show. We won’t go back. View all feedback.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. We discovered it by chance while traveling to visit family in New York, and it was so delightful that we decided to stop by again on our way home. We enjoyed the crab cakes, lobster bisque, and grilled cheese sandwiches, finishing off with the coconut cream cake for dessert. I absolutely love this restaurant and think it perfectly captures the essence of an American city!
Absolutely delicious! The menu offers an excellent variety, ranging from small bites to full-course meals. The drinks were wonderful, featuring a nice selection of beers and wines. The seafood dishes we ordered were outstanding, and the charcuterie board was equally impressive. Our waitress provided A+ service. I hope we can return soon; it was truly a memorable dining experience, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable.
I stopped by today after visiting Homer Men Boys clothing store nearby. I like to come here a few times a year after shopping. As usual, we sat at the bar, while some groups enjoyed sitting outside. The bar features a great selection of craft beers from New York State, as well as a few ciders. The old bar has a lot of character, and I enjoy watching a game while waiting for our meal. We started with tuna and avocado, and then ordered their double burgers. Everything was fresh, and the atmosphere was really nice as always.
This charming and well-decorated corner bar and restaurant has a lot to offer. Our waitress was friendly, but she didn’t check in on us often since we were sitting outside on the patio. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, although it did take quite a while to arrive on a busy Friday afternoon. I would definitely return if I were in the area. One suggestion would be to provide sturdier tables with umbrellas in the front.
The menu offers an impressive variety, and the wine and beer selection is excellent, featuring many local options from New York State. The atmosphere is wonderful; I sat outside two nights in a row with my dog and had a delightful experience. The service was excellent, and the quality of the food was top-notch. The music set the perfect mood—on the first day, it was reminiscent of the 70s Côte d'Azur, while the second day featured hits from the 50s and 60s. As a music enthusiast, this really added to my enjoyment. To my surprise, my waitress on the first day was also the manager, and it quickly became clear how passionate she is about the restaurant. We chatted about the challenges of running a business in the post-COVID era, and I found her to be truly engaging. She made me feel right at home, like a local, and even introduced me to everyone at the bar, which greatly enhanced my overall experience. I wish I could stay longer to try more dishes from the menu, as there are so many tempting options. I highly recommend the beef carpaccio. Thank you, Tanya, for making my visit to Homer unforgettable!
