Yes still a top spot for a lunch or dinner. Service is friendly and quick. As you enter this unassuming establishment you feel the stress and or rush of your journey begin to slip away. There are no T.Vs yelling at you. No back ground radio dictating popular morals... just quiet. You can talk with your companions or strike up a conversation with another customer. Food is reasonably priced homely and delicious. There are even cute potted plants for sale. Yes, we will be back.

Stopped here on the way to Townsville on tripadvisor recommendations. We both ordered a $15.00 rump steak lunch ($2 extra for sauce). I ordered veggies and they didn't disappoint. Option of sitting inside in the restaurant or outside. Friendly people. Fantastic lunch. Don't worry about ordering rare or medium rare just enjoy what comes as it was tasty and good value.
