They also ordered a portion of gyros. Unfortunately, it was very dry and lacked the typical Greek flavor. (NOT GOOD!!! When ordering, we asked for the price, and when paying, we were simply charged more, and they didn't even include ouzo. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant!

The q... read more I know the Selkos family from their time running a small snack bar in Dortmund-Kurl. In these 30 years or so, I 've always been satisfied with everything. The quality of the food has always been very high, and the selection and size of the dishes have remained consistent over the years. The prices are also still significantly lower than in comparable restaurants. The individual low star ratings here can only be attributed to shifted social expectations. Equally incomprehensible is the criticism of the pub atmosphere. Yes, the place used to be a pub, that cannot be denied. If you want to pay for ambiance rather than food, you still have(! plenty of choice... When the last pub around the corner closes, we 'll all be longing for unconventional food. Until then, I hope it continues and no one lets grumpy reviews deter you from stopping by here. Thank you for the friendly manner, for the very fast service, and the friendly conversations at the bar.
