Restaurant Hotel Gartner

I stayed at this hotel for nights. Basic room but very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was great! There was so much than I expected. I have not eaten at their restaurant for lunch or dinner since I was...always out but the food they served at my friends wedding celebration was delicious!!! (they cater too If you want a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, Holzgerlingen would be a nice relaxing place and Hotel Gartner would be a good place to stay. It is walking distance to the train that will take you to Stuttgart (if you wish to go explore the city) and to every interesting places at Holzgerlingen. The locals are nice too

Spent a total of nights at the hotel. Staff were very friendly but they spoke very little English. Room was basic with comfortable bed. I had a single room which means to them, pillow and towel. When asked for another pillow it...never showed up. The breakfast buffet is very basic. That do have a lot of events at the hotel which can make it hard to find a place to park

It's a good South German hotel that can be recommended in the area when you are in transit to Schwiez or work relate, For dinner I ordered a Rinderfiletmedaillons, the meat was super good and cooked just as I wished, for breakfast there was a...large and good selection for adults and children

If you have a family be sure to request a top-floor room that features a balcony/veranda and spacious accommodations. The Gartner family are very friendly and take great pride in their hotel and guest satisfaction. Their breakfast is one of the most extensive I...have experienced in Germany, all fresh and of top quality. They have the most beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog that has to go close to pounds a very gentle giant that loves to sit near the front desk and greet guests (super security dog I'm sure ; Don;t hesitate to book with the Gartners they are lovely people and you will have a great time being their guests!!

Spend nights here on a bussiness trip. Familie hotel. Room basic but clean, good bed. Food in the restaurant reasonable or alsmost good, fair price. I would stay here again , if not..... I was approached by one of the staff that I was...not allowed to use my Ipad mini in de hotel restaurant, they have a laptop-free policy. Unfortunately they did not provide newspapers in any other language than German, so not much alternative when eating alone. I saw some other guest playing with their phone so I just proceeded with the same on my phone, which was apparantly not a problem. The family members themselves walked around with their little children, and one of the elderly familymembers made jokes with one of the other male guests about viagra pills. Me being forbidden to use my ipad mini just did not feel reasonable anymore after that
