Description
**Dining Experience at Slainte: A Mixed Bag**
Slainte has become a culinary hotspot, offering everything from Guinness short ribs to gourmet burgers. Although many diners rave about the friendly service, signature dishes like hand-cut fries and scrumptious desserts, recent reviews reveal inconsistencies. Some patrons lament cold meals, chaotic service, and a lack of attention from staff, particularly during busy periods. While the ambience, including an inviting patio, remains appealing, issues with wait times and food quality have led to mixed experiences. Despite the setbacks, many are eager to return, driven by flavorful dishes and a vibrant atmosphere. Overall, Slainte continues to charm while facing challenges.

For an appetizer, we enjoyed Philly steak egg rolls that were bursting with flavor but surprisingly light and not greasy, which was a nice surprise. For our main courses, my husband chose the loaded burger with onion rings, and he declared it one of the best burgers he’s ever had! I opted for the baked cod served with parmesan risotto and a medley of zucchini, squash, and carrots. The cod was simply amazing—perfectly baked, flaky, and moist, with a flavorful glaze on top. I relished every bite! The risotto and vegetables were also seasoned to perfection. We would definitely love to dine here again!
One of my favorite spots in the valley is truly a hidden gem, conveniently located just off the highway. Although the entrance can be a bit difficult to spot and could benefit from better signage, as well as some repairs to the potholes at the entrance, I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The food is exceptional, and there’s a fantastic menu to choose from. The cocktail selection is equally impressive, and the bartenders are skilled at mixing drinks. Last night, I enjoyed a delicious corned beef and cabbage dinner, which was a special for March. I usually opt for their short ribs or beet ravioli, both of which are excellent, but the harvest salad is also a delightful choice. Our waiter was outstanding, and the atmosphere was charming and cozy. They even have a lovely outdoor seating area with a nice view. I’ve been coming here for years and often bring friends along, and we always have a wonderful experience. I’m definitely looking forward to returning soon. As for vegetarian options, I absolutely adore the goat cheese and beet ravioli, and I'm not even a vegetarian!
I've been to Slainte many times, but this is my first time writing a review. I ordered the dry rub wings and the shrimp and steak pasta. While the wings could have used a bit more salt, the real highlight of the pasta was not the shrimp, steak, or even the pasta itself—it was the sun-dried tomatoes! They added an incredible depth of flavor to the dish, so much so that I asked the waiter where they came from, and it turns out they are from Turkey. The waiter seemed a bit surprised that anyone would ask, but overall, it was a fantastic meal! I would definitely come back again.
Excellent food, great service and wait staff, Kate is our favorite waitress, patio is very nice. Overall a very relaxing environment. Appetizers are 5/5. Entrees are 4/5. Burgers, sandwiches and other entrees are all very juicy, yet crunchy and full of flavor. Definitely has a gourmet feel. Fries and onion rings are hand cut/battered. Prices are very reasonable. Apple crisp with ice cream was AMAZING 5/5.I definitely recommend.
