Lovely week away with family including our 2 year old granddaughter. Had two apartments and resort staff located us across from each other. Absolutely brilliant. Safety: Very quite resort off the beaten track. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet View all feedback.

We had a nice stay here. Although the country club is on the busy A388 it never bothered us too much. However during the summer, when you need the windows open, it could be an issue depending on your room and where it is located on site. Our room was comfortable with a lovely size bathroom with both shower and bath. However the curtains were not very effective allowing our room to be too light for a good night's sleep if you are one for darkness. Facilities like the Leisure club were really nice. Although the lockers are in a poor state of repair. Car parking can be a little crowded/tight especially if you return home quite late in the dark. Feather/Hide Dojo is a restaurant franchise separate to the facilities. We ate here on the first evening opting for the burgers and must say they were good. The country club, we understand is about to undertake a massive overhaul and scaffolding is currently being erected. Recommended.
We had a nice stay over half term and in the master bedroom shower on the ceiling in the corner there was loadsss of mould. Notes/suggestions New blinds due to mould Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech
Wonderful stay! I love this hotel and would gladly stay here again! It is a beautiful location in the scenic countryside of southwest England. It is in the county of Devon. It is within easy driving distance of Cornwall and Land 's End. Devon also has lovely coastlines and historic places to visit. Dartmouth Castle is worth seeing. Other nearby sites to see are Tintagel Castle of the Arthurian legends and the city of Plymouth which is famous as the departure point of the Pilgrims to the New World in 1620. Rooms: Rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is very rustic but not worn out. The rooms are very up to date. Nearby activities: There is much to do and see in the area. This is a very scenic area!
A wonderful, quiet break in comfortable surroundings. Great facilities with Sauna, Steam Room, Heated Pool, Jacuzzi, sauna Gym and beauty room. Highly recommended. Rooms: Very well equipped. Warm and comfortable. Extremely comfortable bed. Food drinks: Food is excellent, good varied choice and full of flavour. The chips with rosemary and thyme are gorgeous. I've had superb whitebait and the Sunday Roast was perfect. Beautifully cooked pink and tender beef with perfectly sized portion and sufficient gravy to mop it all up. Wonderful meals all week in the F H Bar and Grill.
